FAQ

Short answers for the questions that usually follow the first failed request or the first bill.

Do I need an allowlist application?

No. The operator wallet is already allowlisted. You create an account, deposit GNK, and use an obk- key.

Is there a markup?

No. Product markup_bps is 0. You pay the DevShard attempt cost. That is 10 ngonka per token per attempt, and a typical line includes more than one attempt. The old "1 ngonka" endpoint is not the bill. See Pricing.

Where do I send GNK?

To the deposit address on the dashboard, in native GNK on Gonka mainnet. Not to the wallet you typed at registration. The first 100 GNK activates the account. Later payments use the same address. See Deposits.

Can you show me the API key again?

No. The secret is shown once. Delete it if it leaked and create another. Deletion is immediate.

Why is the call 402?

The account is not active yet, or available balance is 0. Balance distinguishes the two. A 402 never reaches a model.

Why is the call 429?

The gateway's concurrency limit is full. OpenBroker does not set a per-key quota. Back off and retry. This is not included in the red percentage on status. If these keep happening, send fewer calls at once. See How much to send and Retries.

Why is the call 502 after a few seconds?

The client stopped waiting for response headers. Host selection can take longer than 15 or 30 seconds. OpenBroker itself waits up to 20 minutes. Raise the client timeout to several minutes. The error text does not include an internal address. See Streaming.

Why does status look better than my success rate?

The red percentage excludes capacity rejections (429 and "no host" style errors). The chart's green line can count those as served. The card's served number is completed HTTP successes. See Status page.

Why did Kimi stop?

Kimi-K2.6 has no chain validation weights, so escrows cannot be opened. It is removed from the model list. Use MiniMax-M2.7 or another id from GET /v1/models.

Which model string do I send?

The full id, for example MiniMaxAI/MiniMax-M2.7. Nicknames are not a supported API alias.

Does a failed request cost GNK?

No. Error rows are stored with cost 0. You still pay for attempts the gateway settled on successes, including redundant attempts. See Usage.

Can I use this from Cursor, LangChain, or another OpenAI client?

Yes, if you can set a base URL and a bearer key. Watch for a doubled /v1. See Clients.
