Deposits and top-ups

Send native GNK on Gonka mainnet to the deposit address. 100 GNK activates the account. Later payments use the same address.

On this page

Balance is GNK held on the OpenBroker ledger for your account. Inference spends that ledger, not the wallet you registered with.

The deposit address

After registration, the dashboard Deposit & top-up tab shows one address. That address is created for your account. Send native GNK (chain denom ngonka) on Gonka mainnet to it.

Do not send GNK to the registered wallet shown on the dashboard. That payment will not credit this account, and OpenBroker cannot treat it as a deposit.

Use the same deposit address for the first 100 GNK and for every later top-up. Any confirmed amount is credited. You do not open a new address per payment.

Activation

The minimum that flips the account to active is 100 GNK. Partial payments stay pending and are credited toward that minimum. The banner on the dashboard shows how much is still missing. Check deposit asks the chain again. The page also polls on its own.

1 GNK = 1,000,000,000 ngonka. API fields such as balance_ngonka are integers in ngonka. A balance of 100000000000 is 100 GNK.

After the payment lands

Confirmed funds are credited to the broker balance, then swept off the deposit address into OpenBroker operations. Keep sending future top-ups to the same deposit address. The sweep does not change that address, and it does not move funds back to your registered wallet. Credited GNK pays for inference. OpenBroker does not return that balance to your wallet.

When requests stop

GET /v1/balance returns:

  • balance_ngonka — ledger total
  • reserved_ngonka — held aside
  • min_reserve_ngonka — balance that cannot be spent on new requests
  • available_ngonka — what a new request can spend

Chat completions return 402 broker GNK reserve exhausted when available is 0. Failed requests are not billed. See How token price works for what a success costs.
